I'm thinking of being a middle man and reselling popular shit from cheap websites to eBay. Eventually I plan on buying bulk from China but I'm not sure where the best place to buy cheap in Australia is.

Any of you guys doing similar and have any advice?

I don't have any specific answers for Australia, but a lady I used to work with sells used clothes on ebay. She had a friend weld together several large metal clothing drop off bins along with smaller bins next to them for glasses, shoes, linens, etc. She has at least eight of them and only has them in parking lots large wealthy suburbs to actually get better clothes and shoes. She painted the bins pink and has a non-profit associated with it. Once a week she and a couple friends go around and get all the clothes...they go through them and keep what they really like, sell the other stuff thats good and the rest she gets a tax-deductible contribution to GoodWill. Last I talked with her was about three years ago and she was making between 1500 to 2000 dollars per month on ebay, and I still see her bins are up.....just a thought.

One of the women in their group is actually pretty wealthy as her husband is an attorney and I know she gets $500/mo tax deductible receipts from GoodWill donations and uses it for her joint personal taxes...6k per year with verifiable receipts is a nice tax write-off. People can be crafty when they want to.
