Yeah, a project backed by millions of SK government funds and research with enough capital to go 2 1/2 years without needing to dump working with banks and multiple countries is just a scam... you really think the SK government is scamming all these countries and funding the devs for lulz?

Andre Cronje talks about it in a few interviews. I know specifically in an interview with The Crypto Lark he talks about this. He goes on to say they had millions funded for research by the SK government before they ever actually had anything made on the tech side. Essentially his job was to come in and take the research and what they were trying to create, and make it happen. They made him head of the tech and he brought in a team that actually knew what they were doing. He then goes on to say they have enough funding for 4 years, but because of the additions to the team, it would be a more conservative estimate to say roughly 2 1/2 for sure.

Interestingly enough, I almost sold all my ftm when I watched an interview with andre talking about fantom and the development of the chains working with the DAG. He almost came across as though he didnt have a lot of faith in the project. He even admitted to not owning any ftm tokens at that time while holding others. Around that time, ftm was about 200 sats. What kept me in ftm was later on when he talks about how fantom essentially put their faith in him and allowed him pretty much full control of developing the project and the dev team supplied mainly by his hand picked people. He is getting paid big money and has a lot of responsibility. He is also South African (SA banks connection?) and highly respected in the cryptosphere. SK has been one of the biggest contenders in crypto and adoption. Lately Andre seems to be much more enthusiastic about ftm and its progress. Andre is a tech genius, and Chen is a marketing madman. They both I can tell are constantly being silenced about how big the break out will be. The reason for this imo is because of the trust between ftm and the institutions they are working with. They give followers in the telegram subtle hints about development frequently because they understand many people see their vision. Such as even telling us in the telegram that the mainnet wouldnt be released in September before they actually announced it. They are trying to both keep their investors happy as well as their partners. What I'm getting at, when this actually pops off, it will be too late for those who have been waiting. They even have Andre's schedule posted for when developments are happening and what they are working on that week. Too much is behind what ftm is doing for it to be a scam. I cant name another project even close to being as open and concise as too what is going on. Look at LINK. Niggers have no idea what Sergay is doing and he gives the same loaded ass speaches and comments everytime. It's all speculation.

>> No.15956118

Pretty sure Andre said he doesn't own any crypto

I think he hates all these scams and that's why the utility of the ftm token has been designed in the way it has. Essential and dynamic

Otherwise he becomes what he hates etc

Most relevant questions answered in gcrypto AMA. Looks like Aside from Dubai project which is active, they are totally focused in banking.

>Hello, could you tell us which are the >countries that use Fantom the most, and why >do you think it is due (their acceptance)?
Michael Kong
CIO
South Africa, Dubai, and hopefully Australia as well. Engaging with potential clients in Korea as well.

Most are waiting for a mainnet to be released. As the stablecoin mainnet is ready, we are starting to engage with potential clients using that.

>Can you tell us in simple words about your New Technology that you will use in STATHEROS ? How it will be beneficial ?
>Also Sir When Mainnet will be launch ?
Michael Kong
CIO
Stratheros uses fantom lachesis and txflow for consensus, cosmos SDK for the middleware, and banking client is building apps on top of the stack such as for payment in stablecoin zar. Will be beneficial by reducing complexity of payments and reducing transaction costs.

>Fantom’s service is likely to suffer a lot depending on the regulatory situation in each country. Does Fantom have a team that specializes in legal work?
Michael Kong
CIO
Yes we have engaged with several law firms across many juristictions such as Europe, USA, Australia, Hong Kong, and Singapore, just to name a few.
We have as our general counsel Fred Pucci, who used to be general counsel for ANZ bank, and also worked as general counsel for the Australian securities regular ASIC

>Can you tell us something about your New Technology that you will use in STATHEROS ? How it will be beneficial ?
Michael Kong
CIO
New technology will enable faster, more secure, and less costly transactions between users within the South African Bank.

It's been awhile since I watched the interview when he said he didnt hold ftm, but I dont remember him hinting at not owning any. He did name a few crypto projects he likes though, because of the problem solutions and appreciation of the code. But I do see your point, and I believe that is why he has stuck with ftm.

Zirs do you realise that the south african monetary supply is equivalent to 250 billion USD, if they want to issue just 1% of that on chain, they need 850m worth of FTM to secure it MINIMUM and more like 1.7bn for 66% network:asset value ... PLUS it will more likely be 10% minimum they will want to issue to really crack down on tax evasion and fraud (lost tax revenue which is hurting them as theyre in so much fucking debt)

With a market cap of 20m it just does not fucking compute

This is a CENTRAL BANK. Just ONE.

and more WILL FOLLOW. they are all watching closely. once there is a solution with first mover advantage then they will all hop on, what don't you fucktards understand about that?

if we get to even 10 billion in assets on chain, forget smart cities and all the other stuff in the pipeline, that's 3.3 billion value of FTM to secure the fucking networks.

Are you stupid or are you pressing the buy button?
