I unironically wish I could induce myself with a coma, with the antidote hooked up to a smart contract that injects it and wakes me up when LINK hits $100 (my made-it number). That way I can skip all these days of suffering and boredom between now and adoption, and on the offchance that LINK never takes off, then I can just sleep for the rest of eternity and never have to face the music. Slipping off into the great beyond with a hopeful smile still on my face.

Anyone else in the same boat?

I'm already dead. Link needs to hit $50 for my real life to begin

I don't know what this means. Spell it out for a brainlet.

why has nobody opened up a clinic that induces people into a controlled coma?
is that illegal?

Because I don’t think it’s possible to control a coma, as much as I wish it was.

its not that complicated
my brother is a doctor I asked him and he said its doable and not that complicated to induce (with basic medical knowledge).
but he also said there is always some risk but its not that likely if you play by the book. then I asked what he estimates would cost to keep someone 2 years in a coma, he said 49.99 (just for the medicine).

Sound unironically like an untapped market. It's not even like you're helping them to kill themselves so I don't see why there would be legal issues. Doctors use prescription meds for off-label purposes all the time without legal repercussions (e.g. ketamine clinics).

my brother said the biggest expense is the nursing shit and the other problem is that it works different for everyone, some people can breathe on their own in a artificial coma but others cant and need to be hooked up to ICU shit at all times which induces a lot more problems and more costs.

and then he joked that if they dont wake up because you fucked up medication you just fake the contract and claim they want to wake up in 2060 instead of 2022

Even if they don't need a ventilator I imagine it costs more than $50 for the drugs unless you are getting it at a rate that pharmacies buying by the kg get it for.
Big concern is the IV access going bad, but if you do a central line then infection risk jumps up considerably. I don't see many normal people in the ICU so that's part I'm sure. Most are fat, shitload of comorbidities, and kind of gross to begin with.
Let's assume a healthy 25 year old male.
If he's on the ventilator then the meme says oral care every two hours, but I've seen research saying every 3 works as well to prevent pneumonia.
Atrophy is a big problem no matter how you slice it, but we want to use the gut for nutrition. Ng/og or PEG tube and formula changed every 24 hours.
Bedsores are a problem. Meme says turn every two hours, keep skin dry and protect bony prominences from excessive pressure. I think we can find a diy way to automate. Redneck rotoprone bed and just set it to spin rotisserie style two full rotations every 24 hours.
Bathing is good idea, wash off dead skin cells. Maybe some kind of pressure washer thing?
Peepee go in Foley
Poopoo needs better solution than ass foley or my bootyhole will be the size of a fist after two years.
After two years still going to be mental decline, so load up a shitload of woke ass tinfoil podcasts. Be the first man to woke from a coma.
Idk how to do it but it would be cool to make a special cuckshed sized room with the autoturner and carwasher. Set it up so you just need a special trained nurse for one or two hours a day to check and keep machine running smoothly.
