Reaching comfiness levels previously thought unattainable.

I'd rather hold a low volume coin that is making me money than a high volume that is losing money steadily. To each his own though, some people like you just like getting cucked by the crypto market I guess.

shit it's about time
I've been holding this shitcoin for months

I hold the coin, but I honestly never look at the price unless a thread about it is posted on here. It only keeps going up. I estimate by February next year it has done at least a 3X to 5X.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Yeah, thats what having actual revenue does to a coin.

Also extra comfy because I'm earning around $50 a month through my edge hosts and gearing up to much more when gateway onboarding will be announced.

how many hosts is that?

That's because people are slowly buying the coin to stake it in a node and there isn't enough supply to buy $10,000 to $50,000 worth in one go without pumping the price and overpaying for having no patience.

>> No.15748370

>>15746717
How is the ROI on an edge node? Been eyeballing this for awhile.

>> No.15748532

>>15748370
It was close to 100% without inflation, which is crazy.... those tokens actually come from customer demand and purchases...

but, I think it's probably less now, with self-onboarding enabled.

2. I'm getting around $25 on my founding node since multiple months and assuming my self-onboarded host while pull at least that (I'm expecting a bit more even due to higher device specs)

>hurr durr indians ranjeets low volume durr.
Is this all you can say? You sound extremely low IQ. Obviously the volume is low, which isn't surprising given its low marketcap. It just shows that people are holding because they know the price is increasing from adoption/or have their coins locked up in nodes.

>2. I'm getting around $25 on my founding node since multiple months and assuming my self-onboarded host while pull at least that (I'm expecting a bit more even due to higher device specs)
huh
so the website doesn't lie about 80% ROI

the only case against the project is if they let everyone to run hosts, the revenue stream that currently nets people 80% ROI, would get slimmer since there's more hosts. Kind of like how more miners = less profits, in standard POW.

>> No.15749016

>>15748874
yes, its likely that the ROI will go down somewhat when they allow more than two devices per person. However they are also actively onboarding new customers for more revenue and they are controlling the host onboarding pace to make sure ROI stays good.

>> No.15749077

EDGE is based. Holding only a bit over 5K to cover my host stake. Will probably launch another host once we’re allowed and need to accumulate until then. The EDGE developers seem to have a solid grip on what this project needs to make it. I hope they really push sales hard and start pulling in customers from the established competitors.

I only keep kukcoin shares on there for some tiny passive gains but something like this happening is scary. Also keep wondering if US customers will get the boot like with Binance.

can somebody tell me about the tech behind edge? why is it better than golem or rlc?

>> No.15749999

>>15749790
https://edge.network/en/updates/network/edge-network-now-onboarding/

>>15749910
Not comparable really, golem and rlc are used to rent some time on random computers (task based), while edge is a global network that distributes the processing to be as close to the user as possible (i.e. edge computing), to benefit from lower latency, higher bandwidth and better uptime. Its general purpose like golem and rlc in theory, but right now its mainly focused on web-services (which rlc and golem can't do), such as web-hosting, CDN, CMS, DNS, storage, etc.

You can readup on the architecture more here: https://edge.network/en/architecture/

Based quads. Also, this sounds like a really good idea. Basically a decentralized webhosting service, sounds like. Is this scalable to other TCP/IP services as well, such as FTP? If so I'm definitely investing.

finally a friendly payjeet

so what is it used for and by whom? can't find any stats or info about that. is there a concrete example / customer?

>> No.15750085

>>15750071
Looks like mainly businesses, website owners, web service owners, or anyone who wants to do internet networking.

>> No.15750160

>>15750042
Yes, well edge storage is in beta currently. Not sure what kind of protocol (ftp or otherwise) they will be using to retrieve it, I'm guessing there will be a custom api.

And yes, they're building lots of other services on it as well, including a mobile API and host software.

Also they have been off-branching their CMS to a new domain under edit.com (pretty awesome domain if you ask me), and it runs 100% on the network.

>>15750071
Some customers are known, like ecohustler.com or empireonline.com (the sites run on the network and are built with the web-frameworks), while others prefer to stay anonymous. What is known is is that there is over 6M revenue in the pipeline waiting to be onboarded.
