It can be used to transmit large amounts of capital internationally at very little cost.
Let's say you live in Germany and you want to buy a 300k apartment in let's say USA. Normally you'd have to transfer via SWIFT pay somewhere between 2-6% fees ( imagine paying 18k just to transfer money) with Bitcoin you can turn 300k right to the vendor of the house with only a small transactional fee.

Also it's immune to sanctions
Also your funds cannot be frozen in Bitcoin because it's not a bank.

Not sure if you've heard of the more underground and obscure ones but there are other coins besides btc. Litecoin, Ethereum, and Monero are also worth checking out.
