I don’t understand people who say eagles are the most liquid. Silver is silver. Both the dealers in my area said they personally only buy generics. Most have testing machines so counterfeits are not as much a concern as they used to. My problem is when silver inevitably gets back to $50 an ounce or more and the fiats collapse, that buyers are not going to be willing to pay the extra premiums on silver and will just pay spot. I brought up these concerns to the dealers and they said yes they only buy generics and constitutional. Nothing is prettier to look at than an eagle however and at the end of the day that’s all that matters. Silver is still a steal right now so an eagle isn’t that much a big a deal until it’s $20 an ounce.
