Most day traders lose money

You will lose money

Day trading attracts retards because they think it's easy money. Hurrr just buy low sell high how hasnt anyone else thought of this

Its the amount of time a reasonable comeback takes you moron, also the initial capital you have to even trade. No point doing it if you're scraping £20 a day. You need a large amount of money to do it, then you're just working 24/7 at home, home doesn't feel relaxing anymore, you've got a lot of money and you're still stressed which is retarded. Better to make some real investments or some small easy to run business. Buy some land and develop it or some shit, anything. Day trading is retarded.

Never heard that before. Capital has not much to do with trading. 25k is with moderate leverage 100k spread thru multiple instruments that is fine and very safe unless you try to trade something like forex intraday

Just tossing this out there, to anyone. What about selling high, buying low? Raises in the SP is pretty difficult to predict, but drops are often (not always) predictable; ie. sharp spikes will fall 90% of the time. Why don't I see more people selling during a sharp spike and buying back in when it drops?

>> No.1567905

As long as you're not trading with a company whose SP is constantly dropping, of course.

you literally need 25k in your account to qualify for the day-trader rule. you gonna get FUCKED by taxes if you can't claim the rule.

Hell, there might be a fine/your broker will halt trading if you don't meet the 25k.

Obviously you don't day trade.

Never heard of that "rule" before. I see you are quite narrow minded and speak only in domestic terms.

Capital has no impact really. Only alrge enough capital will make your trading very hard but that's not the issue for retailers in general

You're not fucked in taxes, you'd be paying an income tax bracketed by the income you made, and PDT rules only apply to margin accounts. I believe, regulardless of how much you have in your account, anything you haven't held for a year would be taxed as income.

You don't need it for Futures or Forex. You can open an account and trade with 1 or 2 thousand. The biggest problem most trader have and the reason most don't do well is that they are very under capitalized.

Because stocks are an actual piece of a company, while CFD's are just another derivative. You don't need CFD's to get leverage.
Brits only trade them because they have a Bernie Sanders level tax on stock trades (making it pointless from a profit perspective), while the industry is so under regulated you're begging to get robbed trading them.
Plus500, anyone?
