I haven't seen this discussed yet. Once you operate a link node and stake your tokens, how much do you reckon will your comission be? 1% of provided collateral, more? less? Or will it depend on the nature of contract?

I imagine it’ll be competitive with lending since the risk is the same, so around 7%. The real question is once staking is live how much will LINK moon? If there are jobs you’ll have dozens or maybe hundreds of nodes competing to swallow as much LINK as they can, driven further by people like us wanting a piece of the pie to add to our staking gains. Number one risk is nobody uses LINK but it seems that the nodes are already being used, if for nothing else to supply price data to the largest crypto price sites. I imagine that supply that same price data to NASDAQ and other large markets is not far behind, and you can look at the jobs on the lp marketplace to understand more about what kinds of things are in the works (gaming scores seems to already be a thing). Personally I think it’s not so much an if but a when. Could be this year, could be in 6 months.

If it’s further away the bleed out might be pretty bad. I’m stockpiling cash in case I see sub 50 cent LINK again or until staking when I can safely buy in.
