It really was such a shady fucking scam. It seemed like a perfect team and use case (minus Chimpsetti) initially but it was actually a carefully constructed exit scam. Luckily I got out at 70% down. I know people that are over 99% down on their stack. Fucking sad. These scammers should be tried for financial crimes - Chinese style.
