I make around 500 dollars a week. Currently at school, so can't slave on uber. Is it too late to invest in coins? Should I just off myself?

Live frugally. Invest 100% of what doesn't go towards rent/basic necessities.

get a bachelor's degree with a double major in two high-demand subjects and then get a job paying six figures.

wageslave for six figures while saving >50% of your income.

invest in a mix of risky and safe investments, but err on the safe side because a -100% return on something will blow up your portfolio and your mental health.

always live with a roommate/partner/spouse to save on rent. Always buy a cheap used car, and drive it for as long as possible before getting another one.

Buy furniture at thrift stores. Buy clothes on thanksgiving weekend with the black friday discount. Use your clothes and furniture for as long as possible before replacing them.

Learn to cook and cook cheap & healthy meals at home.

Make an account on Mint or Clarity Money or any of the other finance tracking websites.

Don't lend money to friends or family. If you decide to give them money, make it clear that it's a one-time gesture.

Do all of the above and you'll be a millionaire at least as soon as ~15 years after you get out of college, and a multi-millionaire as soon as ~22 years after you get out of college.

And that's assuming you don't marry someone who earns a bunch of money too. Though if you have kids that could be a considerable drag on your net worth.

Good luck anon. Sorry for the reddit spacing, but you asked a reddit question.

500 a week as a student is decent by any measure - I don't know a single person that didn't go into debt while they were at school without spending daddy's money to cover tuition. spend time learning how to invest your money now so it can pay off later, and understand that blowing your future salary on dumb shit won't make you happier. if you get an in-demand degree you can be worth 7 figures 10 years after you graduate

>> No.15483456

and slaving on uber is literally not even worth your time, you won't make it hauling stacy and her drunk ass friends around on Friday nights

7 figures buys you Ramen noodles every day until your death in your government-subsidized old people ghetto. Millions will only buy you a miserable retirement in the future. This Dave Ramsey BS just leaves everyone struggling with an impoverished retirement, that might as well be paid for with a welfare check.

Saving money from a wagecuck job just leaves you with savings that you can barely live off when inflation takes hold.

This whole "hoard paltry cash get rich" BS is a dumpster fire of a philosophy, that produce the same decrepit people that drop out of the workforce with no savings.

Hahaha i literally make more than that in 1 day :3

All I know is that all the retired people around me have millions in the bank, but they are still forced to count their Washingtons at Taco Bell and don't have enough if they live past 90, which most of us will.

Old people that continue to get cash usually work up to being on Board of Directors, managing funds and shit.

All I am trying to do is network myself into places of social and fiscal importance, so even if I go broke I have a network to fallback on. That's what all the cash-generating boomers+ have. I never see a boomer+ happy relying on a piggy bank of stale cash, other than that they can get have their rotten Whataburger coffee every morning.

I try man. But car insurance plus rent i barely get by. Uber is not a permanent job, had to get into it since my restaurant gig left no no time for college
