This new project (mixicles + Deco) is absolutely amazing in that it largely focuses on fucking derivatives, privacy, compliance, AND it reduces reliance on TEEs (which Chainlink also absolutely owns).
BUT the information right now is too dense and technical for your average (crypto) investor.

However, this new solution is exactly what will draw legacy financial institutions to Chainlink (privacy, compliance, simplification, ...), and when that happens the true impact of this new development will be felt.

From yesterday onwards, Chainlink owns DeFi.

You think IOTA and VEN fanboy retards are going to respond to this?
If anything it gives an indication of how young and immature this technology stack is. It literally says that "guidance is beginning to emerge" (from ISDA) about the smart contract structure of derivatives instruments. Makes you realise that Sergey's prediction of derivatives this year seems very likely to be premature.
Don't get me wrong it's a great document, but it's literally a preliminary brainstorm of how these things could be structured. There is so much more that needs to be done.

Fair enough. But I remember 2018 when alts crashed everyone was saying it is because crypto can't be used by the current industry. And now Chainlink comes with litterally a connector to whatever you want to crypto (ie its oracle network) and a private smart contract settlement instrument (mixicles) which can respect auditable and regulatory requirements. Plus it leverages off chain computation as everyone was whining about scalability. I used to understand market concerns as I didn't see enterprises integrating all in one solutions as Vechain for instance as they would need to change all their process and buy new hardware. But chainlink brings (imo) what the market was demanding, that's why I'm surprised it doesn't pump. Anyway Im in long term so I'll just wait, but I must admit I was hoping for some kind of reaction from the crypto community at least (maybe not price wise but some kind of interest from the developers)

Things like town crier acquisition or Mixicles are very abstract, ontop of the rather backend abstract concept of LINK. Normies cant speculate on what Mixicles can mean easily.
