Why is it so much development on BSV? I don't get it. Pic related has happened in just 9 months. How can people waste so much time and money developing on this shit. It makes no sense to me. What are you talking about?
At this moment, BCH is the only Bitcoin variant that is practical for small payments.
It has low enough transaction fees (less than a cent), and decent market acceptance, meaning that you can actually use it to buy a beer or make a small donation.
Cash Shuffle gives you reasonable privacy, although Monero is better in that regard.
Bitcoin Lightning isn't really working well (yet?) and is making the system more centralized.
BSV is vaporware.

Accurate reliable weather data is important and a good example of the oracle problem. Crops insurance for example is payed based on weather data.
Blockchain weather is a valid use case but BSV just records the output of a centralized api on a blockchain that isn't even tamper resistant.
Before 2013 people were generally excited about putting everything on the BTC blockchain but the problems associated with that thinking just accumulated the more people did it. It's easy to be tempted to ignore the problems and just pump out fundamentally broken applications because it's more fun than worrying about reality.
