So basically my boss told me today that he'll only be hiring GenZ workers from now on.
He said they're:

>Multitask faster
>Are quiet and do as they're told when they're told
>Cheaper
>Specialised in one STEM skill and learn on their own time and dime
And, I shit you not, that they:

So are "we" (I'm 26) Millennial basically tucked?

80% of GenZ want to change the environment, be socialists, etc. and BLAME MILLENIALS FOR BEING IGNORANT AND COMPLACENT!
We've got a bad rep, can't get in because ducking boomers are just biding their time until they can retire, getting our assed handed to us by Digital Natives who learned by seeing us get tucked in the ads, etc.

I saw a colleage get FUCKING REPLACED BY AN INTERN after 4 years of work on that system.

When will people learn that there are no generations, only people and cultures. Generations is the biggest marketing ploy since it was first contrived.

A younger worker will always want to keep his head low, under the bosses radar because as an intern, they expect that their work and effort will be recognized and that they will eventually land a job that will never come. Why would they wish to be the challenging, motivating leader who will clash heads with the very boss they hope will hire them?

This is why people hire, young, fresh out of college employees. They are highly energetic as they are new to the work environment and all they hope for is security. Something to pay for their COL. And because of this fact is why X-Managers choose to hire gen X, younger people than the older wiser millennials.

I don't understand the infatuation with social media. I have a fair amount of friends that I hang out with but I mainly communicate via text. I have my real Facebook page with ~350 friends but I never post there other than b-day messages/congratulations to friends. I luckily have my old fake FB page still active with almost 5,000 "friends." I see so many fights over politics, misunderstandings, cheating accusations, etc. Why put that all out there? One bad post or tweet can get picked up in national and/or international media and basically make you persona non grata.
