To answer your question though it's not better than fiat, it's never going to be used in the same manner as fiat, Lightning Network is a meme, and Satoshi himself wrote in the Bitcoin whitepaper that fiat works fine in the majority of cases. There is a place immutable, impossible to counterfeit, uncensorable digital money though.

It made a sharp parabolic move to $13K, which was obviously going to drop back. Then for a few weeks, a bunch of Chinese fraudsters who had accumulated a billion-dollar stash of BTC were dumping it at any price over $10K. People were posting the arrest reports from China and were tracking the transactions being done by the fraudsters who had managed to evade capture. I think that killed momentum.

Doesn't matter, it'll start going up again. Adoption is happening, Wall Street is buying, real-world use is spreading. Back in 2017 I thought the people calling for $100K were delusional, now I think it'll easily surpass that.
