The only entity that has shown a real alternative is Tesla. They make a product that people want and are taking steps to make it more accessible. It's a positive and it adds to peoples lives.

Contrast that to superficial restrictions that don't make a key difference to the environment but limit people's potential. It all seems designed to make you pay for new appliances and modes of transport. It's a negative.

bitcoin uses electricity. One day we will have 100% sustainable non-polluting energy. Its a non-issue.

We just need to stop all fossil fuel use in the next few decades

Yet Bitcoin mining is one of the greenest industry with more than 74% of renewable energy adoption, way ahead of the global average.

If anything, Bitcoin mining is helping save the planet because of all the investment made into developing green energy supplies kek

The electricity to charge a tesla usually comes from burning coal which is worse for the environment than a gasoline burning car

Most bitcoin is mined using renewable energy. Specially hydroelectric power.

>The electricity to charge a tesla usually comes from burning coal which is worse for the environment than a gasoline burning car

Firstly, we should switch to renewables. Secondly, Tesla offers a means for renewable energy generation. Thirdly, I think stationary power plants have steam generators that allow them to burn fossil fuels more efficiently than a car engine.
