You do understand the self help genre is just a form of new age cope right? Nobody became a millionaire from reading a self help book.

Real Estate Investing

He calls it old school fastlane

High Teir magnate (housing alone is usually over 33% of people's income).

High end of Low Tier scale ability (You are somewhat limited to where you buy, needs money to scale... Not as scale able as an online biz).

Basically I started buying after I got my first job @ 20 years old. I'm 26 years old now and basically a millionaire on paper. My portfolio earns me close to 10k a month net profit.

Quit my job last year, Next year I plan to go to Bali for a month to chill and learn how to surf.

I would take more time off, but I want to grow the biz to >20k a month

It's obvious neither of you have read this. It's not a self help book. The information in it is amazing, although the forums are better. Telling you how to enact anything from it is pointless. The entire point is to make things happen which involves getting off your ass and applying yourself.

Nice trips, but you're half right.

Read more AND do more. For instance, I read Thinking Fast and Slow, but it doesn't click in until you start applying it in real life. I realized its value when I realized how emotional I was when it came to swing trading. I also watched a TED talk on memorization, thought it was pretty cool. But it's a different world when you have a need to use it, like memorizing your seed phrases.

Compound and absorb new ideas from others via reading or watching but realize that this all means nothing until you start ACTING on them.

Yep.

The cover of that book looks gay as fuck but it’s the most red pulled business book there is.

I have a gold thread on the fast lane forum. I started selling products on Craigslist while I worked full time 3 years ago.

Now I have my own brand and I going to be starting another venture with a pretty big name celebrity. I owe MJ a ton for giving me the road map to escaping wage slavery.

Yes, that book changed my life.

I read it when I was 15. It got me into the mindset of learning everything I could about starting a "fastlane" business that checks all the boxes and fills a need.

Throughout the rest of high school I did a bunch of dabbling in teespring and affiliate marketing to learn about online marketing, which I saw as an invaluable skill. A was able to save up three thousand bucks from it too. The skill payed off big time for me when I got to college.

Went to college at 18, on 100% student loans and grants, but I had that $3k savings in my back pocket while I looked out for the right opportunity. Halfway through the year I found the perfect product, huge demand but awful current solutions available. Huge repeat customer product. And wouldn't take much to get my first batch made after finding an amazing manufacturer. They had a killer product that I modified to make even better. I've since modified it substantially over the years.

Once I had the product made it was game time. Spent a few months coding a custom website over Shopify's liquid code. All those years doing marketing payed off and I put together a great website with a high conversion rate emphasis on my website being "starship" quality if that makes sense.

To launch I had to get creative, I didn't have much money left over for marketing. I ended up making a reddit fashion guide post that secretly promoted my own product. It was a great piece of content and did well. Brought in $6k in sales and sold out my first inventory.

After that it was go time. I rolled it all into a lot more inventory, while simultaneously improving the product, branding, website, etc.

Things have snowballed since then. Sales over time are
2016 - $9k
2017 - $103k
2018 - $800k
2019 so far - $1.35m

Big things that helped me were sponsoring small but talented YouTubers for dedicated product videos. This helped me get to $100k in the second year. The next year was huge from doing that AND turning those videos into short ads on FB and IG. This year I've done both of those things but also had the product featured on GMA deals a few times, and hired a pr firm that landed us some big hits. Word of mouth and repeat orders has been amazing as well.

It all comes back to MJs book for me. I've read it 10 times. His fastlane forum has some extremely valuable threads as well. Just look for the gold threads pre 2016.

Shopify Masters podcast has also been an invaluable resource for me, check it out.

I'm in a great position for a 22 y/o. My life was truly changed by The Millionaire Fastlane.

I've now dropped out of college, am very comfortable, in a nice high rise apartment and hoarding more silver and gold than most of you.. I am dealing with a trademark lawsuit for the business which sucks ass. Trademark trolls trying to fuck me over for money and could potentially have to rebrand. Lawsuit will likely cost $75k if we don't settle soon. Already dropped 20k this past year.. We'll see what happens

People always ask that. Lmao!

All I will say is that it's a functional fashion accessory/clothing product. For men and women.

I don't drop ship and never will. People don't want crap from China that takes 30 days to arrive. They want high quality branded stuff that gets there in a few days. I have a 3pl warehouse in the us that I work with and used to ship everything myself for the first year and a half.

My product isn't made in China, and I'm not on Amazon. All my own website.
