I worked for a couple of small businesses and it's 100% true. They don't know how to delegate responsibilities.
I worked for one who had two restaurants and if he wasn't there (and his wife in the other) almost every day the place wouldn't work. I asked myself, the product really is great and people love it and come in droves, why doesn't he turn it into a franchise?

He was pretty well off. Had a huge house and I guess enough money for a good living, but he could've made lots more without having to work shitty hours.
