Indeed it doesn't. ISO is just a standardized messaging format, it's what chainlink relies on to connect to swift, but iso is by itself unrelated to chainlink and has existed for years. GPI is for fast settlements, a function completely unrelated to smart contracts and doesn't need decentralized oracles - it's also already implemented, think for a second, chainlink isn't even half finished and functional, and decentralized oracles would by nature be secure but slow instead of fast, when the whole point of gpi is that they can settle in like 1 second or whatever. The retards who keep spouting gpi=chainlink are the most retarded linkies by far.

>> No.15212853

>>15212825

okay well basically it seems its likely that iso 20022 has to do with Chainlink and Swift gpi

>> No.15212900

i know it is just the messaging format, but the fact that Chainlink is making it clear that it is iso 20022 compliant and that they are supposedly working with Swift, who is developing a fast real time settlements system, I would assume that they are using blockchain for that, since they value security and reliability, which also means that they would also likely need to use Chainlink the leading open source standard to get the smart contract beyond tokenization and allow them to replicate the data of the existing contracts.. and pay out in whatever format they prefer, almost like what Chainlink has been saying they would do from the start

gpi link is specifically the product that connects SWIFT gpi (cross border reconciliation that, on it's own, does not rely on Chainlink) with DLT. Corda is the launch DLT for gpi Link and Corda have used the exact Chainlink hexagon to represent oracles in their infographics.
So the speculation is that gpi Link, which SWIFT is presenting on at SIBOS, is a Chainlink product used to connect SWIFT gpi ($40B of settlement a day) to DLT (initially Corda).

link isn't, just a logo that looks similar to chainlink. Linkies are grasping at straws now because link is their last hope.
Most are males between the ages of 25-32 and have no hope for the future. Thus they cling to link like ants on a log because it literally is their last chance at proving everyone wrong.

Literally every single person in this thread is guessing. As to what Swift GPI is / uses.. Who and what will be using chainlink.. etc. etc. No one knows. I've done the research, there are certainly bread crumbs out there.. and they look really good for Chainlink, but none of you faggots know anything for certain. Anyone in here saying they do is a massive faggot, typical neckbeard arrogant social retard that has no friends and no one likes.
