if you don't want to give up living in the USA the second best thing to do is live in a state with no state income taxes. The only way to get away from federal taxes is to get approved for act 22 in Puerto Rico and live there most of the year. PR is a shithole though I'd honestly rather pay the federal taxes at this point. The locals don't really want you there anyways. maybe if I was working with 5-20mil and could afford to gate myself off from all the bullshit but even then you could live so many cooler places and not really worry about money. It really ties you down.

I'm looking to Washington State maybe spokane, bellingham, port townsend, Vancouver somewhere cheaper but still decent. Plenty of other states with no state income tax though. South dakota, Wyoming, Texas, Florida, Alaska & Nevada.

If you're willing to give up US citizenship and pay a huge exit tax you have a lot of options

Somalia.

Tokyo. Haven't paid any crypto taxes since moving her 3 years ago. Greatest country in the world by far and literally 0 crime. Likely live here until I die.

Portugal - no capital gains tax and double taxation agreements with other EU countries. Not sure about the US.

Germany.
But you have to hodl for 12 months so you can't trade, just fiat-coin-12months-fiat. If you do that there's zero tax. It used to be the same for stocks until recently now literally everything's taxed in Germany except crypto. It's (dare I say it) our last refuge.
