Using a fake coupon is a one and done kinda deal. The moment the business goes to reconcile the coupon with the vendor and gets told that it’s a fake, everyone employed with the business will get a verbal lashing.

They still exist, to a degree. The problem is that when we used to do it back in the day... it wasn't really illegal. At most they'd call a security guard to kick you out of the store.

Now a lot of states will consider coupon altering fraud. In NY "retail theft by fraud" is considered a fucking felony. How much are they actually going to bother locking up some neckbeard in the suburbs trying to get BOGO Monster Zeros is up for debate.

I don’t fake coupon anymore, but I’m part of a group that scrapes Walmart’s website at various zip codes for pricing errors. When we find a good one, we set our GPS to said store and try to get Lowe’s/Target/Kmart to price match. I bought 20 packages of charmin toilet paper (the $25 ones) for $1 each from some wagie last week. I won’t need to buy toilet paper for a year. If I had a big brain, I’d do some code injecting into websites on my iPhone for price matching purposes.

The crew making the jewpons were arrested and nobody else on /b/ knew how the software worked. It was just a bunch of retards trying to update the expired UPC codes with paint after that. The merchant jew was furious that over a million dollars in free pizza rolls were given out, so they got the FBI involved.

The FBI investigated and prosecuted /b/tards making fake coupons and stealing from jews but won't investigate suspected child sex rings. Priorities and all.

I made a coupon using the software for a free xbox live $50 gift card and put "thanks for finishing our survey" on it to make it look legit when I was 11 browsing /b/. I made my mom drive me to the store and her and the cashier both fell for it cause I did a bomb ass job making it look real to be honest. It didn't even scan though and the clerk had to call over a manager, and they still let it go through. I really wish i could have seen the look on the guys in the fraud departments face when they went back over the footage and realize they got hardcore played by an 11 year old. I spent the gift card on buy black ops 1, was totally worth it.
