>Wtf is RSR/RSV?
RSR = Reserve Rights - Used as collateral to keep RSV stable at $1, when used its burnt to purchase xyz amount of RSV at $1 - so if RSV is $1.20 you can use RSR to arbitrage and buy at $1. It is a volatile asset intended to have a high price.

RSV = Reserve - The stable crypto that is economically and legally robust at any scale. Decentralized, 100% asset backed, and funded by top Silicon Valley investors. It is literally the most technologically advanced stable coin concept to date in a world where the current stable coins have more problems than a tranny trying to figure out what public bathroom to use. In short, RSV is the only stable coin concept that isnt a literal shitcoin. Just look at DAI, just the other week it was $0.93! MakerDAO cannot scale for use as a global stable currency, as of right now only the Reserve protocol fits the criteria checklist for that use case.

IMPORTANT UPDATES
>RSR burnrate confirmed at 2-5% annually in USD value of the total supply by Reserve devs.
>Huobi is building a DeFi that will support RSV
>Entirely regulatory compliant
>RSV launch with app in August (rumored insider info)
>New RSR exchange listings in Q4 (also rumored)

Available Supply data:
>The circulating supply for the first 3 years is closer to 20 billion as the reminder are essentially in a staked state.
>55 billion is held by the Reserve team to do burns so that more RSV can be minted
>In the event of minting new RSR the total supply will never exceed 100 billion as per dev data

Circulating supply on CMC is incorrect

Price projections:
2019 eoy: $0.05
2020 eoy: $0.40
2021 eoy: $1.30

Reasons why smart money anons are buying:
>The Reserve protocol is the first ever invention of currency to fit the criteria of John Nash's "Ideal Money"
>Investing in Reserve/RSR is like investing in a startup central bank. The value they could create if successful will put any meme X on blockchain project in the shadow.
>Thats why Libertarian thinkers like Thiel and Sam Altman are involved.

Read up and then really focus on understanding the Reserve protocol and see for yourself:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ideal_money
http://personal.psu.edu/gjb6/nash/money.pdf

It also doesn't matter how many brainlets will buy into RSR, the longterm value will come from its adoption. If there is no adoption it will just end up beeing a failed startup/shitcoin. If we should see adoption of RSV or RSD then RSR price will explode. Currently Reserve is the perfect asymmetric bet of 2019 with the best R/R ratio.

Another major reason that the more "elite /biz/ness men" are in early on RSR is because the Reserve team was invited to present at Davos. If you are not aware, Davos is literally the most elite business conference there even is on earth. It's impossible to go any higher than Davos as its the tippy top of the AAA list.

ReservePool anon here. I'm still mapping out the staking service, and obviously won't be able to launch it until RSV is up and running, but I haven't found any reasons this won't work. By using DEXs for trades I can make it fully non-custodial (so assets are held by a smart contract... no need to trust me, I won't be able to steal your RSR). Here's how it will work:
>you deposit your RSR to the smart contract
>when arbitrage opportunities present themselves, a tx will be executed. Assuming a 10% arb opportunity for simplicity
>first, we take $10k worth of RSR and burn it to get $11k worth of RSV
>then, we use this $11k RSV to purchase $11k RSR, which is returned to the pool
>profit is distributed between all members of the pool
So in the example above, if there was $20k RSR in the pool and we used $10k RSR to exploit a 10% arb opportunity, the pool would increase by 5%. Everyone just earned 5% compound interest on their RSR.
I'm also thinking about keeping some of the profit in the smart contract as RSV, so that when new RSR is minted the pool can buy it for cheap.
>>15092115
This. I'm hoping it is low IQ investors who got lucky in finding this and are overexcited, or fudders reverse shilling. Whatever, I'm still confident in RSR's model and chances of gaining adoption. The "$1k EOY" linkies don't seem to be hurting LINK too much.

the Reserve team fudded their own project to keep nubizlets away from buying it and further pricing out the insiders and real investors. its a mechanism of keeping the initial price of RSR low so that the accumulation phase can be more extended. high IQ anons will understand this.

Captain here. Waiting very patiently for RSV and the app to come out. The hackernoon article posted above is by far the best break down of why reserve will succeed. I may be able to accumulate to major if we stay low.

At the very least Reserve should be competing against Maker. It's the only real decentralized competition for it

Also, I asked the telegram mods about marketing. Specifically because I emailed probably the entire crypto press about why no one was talking about Reserve. Mods said they are specifically waiting to market the coin after RSV comes out. So you should start hearing about it much more in a few weeks.

Also if anyone wants to submit a write up about Reserve to the The Daily Hold, they're looking for one.

BTW brainlet fudders. If you want to talk about uncertainty or weakness with reserve, I'll give you some tips

>When the Reserve Protocol first launches new Reserve Shares will be minted whether the vault is undercollateralized or overcollateralized and this initial design mechanism will create an overall inflationary effect that may lower the price of Reserve Shares
This is going to be negated by burns, fomo and the likely rapid pace of adoption

>if the excitement and FOMO created by Reserve’s mass adoption does not encourage speculators to buy Reserve Shares then the holders of these share tokens will have to rely on the Vault’s collateral assets appreciating in value as their sole source of revenue
Which is not bad at all. You're holding a giant fucking bag of worldwide diverse assets. Certainly protected from horrible bear markets.

>Reserve has no saving interest rate like MakerDAO
Maker can't scale. So fucking what? People are gonna use what has liquidity. Reserve can get there. Maker cant.

You realize that even though reserve's model is nearly perfect, and completely unique, that shit could happen beyond the control of the team?

Stablecoins are getting a lot of press lately. Most of it bad (Libra, Tether, now walmart lmao). These moves are not just threatening altcoins and stablecoins, but the entire market. Reserve could emerge as something better. It could die in a regulatory purge.

Even if RSV succeeds, for it to go ballistic would require a very healthy security token market and dapp market. As well as maturation of a lot of platforms. We are pretty far from that when you have faggots like Justin Sun, CSW, and Shady Lu in the top 30. People are still buying vechain bro. Chink scams.

But besides that, reserve is the tits. It beats every decentralized stablecoin model, and can scale beyond tether.

It's up to you if you want free money.

Thanks. No whitepaper yet, I'll get something up once RSV is launched and there are smart contracts to work with so I can get the details right.
What do you guys think of me taking a 0.1% fee on each successful arb execution? So on a 10% arb opp, the pool profits 9.9% and I get a revenue stream to keep building this. I don't want to sell a token like LinkPool as I would prefer to keep this open to all RSR holders (bigger pool == larger arb opps == more profit).
