I have a trek fuel 5 from 2017

the local trek store near me has been super cool about service and maintenance
recently a spoke broke through the frame of my rear tire after a stick got stuck up in it
trek covered the rear tire under warranty
they fixed it at no cost

haven't been a big fan of the fat tire but I'm sure its a good bike

I don't think this is an anyone approved mountain bike, fat tyres are not really cool. Trek doesn't have a good hardtail currently. Get a Marin San Quentin or similar aggressive hardtail
