Another SpaceX question: There's no stocks available obviously but is there a way for the average pissant (5-10k investment) to invest into spacex as directly as possible? I've heard you can buy Alphabet stock since they have some spacex in the mix somehow but I don't want alphabet right now...
Btw Elon has said that he loathes the stock market because it would put pressure on SpaceX to be as profitable as possible but unironically I just want to support the endeavor. Not as charity, but as a slow long term investment. Elon is a meme machine but the team behind spacex has done some solid work. High profile engineering projects seem like the last remnants of healthy social groups relatively unaffected by political insanity.

I should be flattered that you've had to resort to making things up to argue with.

I've repeatedly instructed anons to pick up UNH and buy the dips in JNJ. If, for whatever reason, UNH drops below 246 again, that a buy. It's a big buy, a big hard buy.

I'm not saying buy it hand-over-fist, but just fucking buy some. Much of its weakness seems to be related to medicare-for-all FUD, and poor communication from CEO during conference calls, both of which are well worth buying.

I don't meme-lines. If someone wants to use them to find the buy-in place, it's much appreciated. But if we're lucky enough to get it around 245 again, that's solid.

Alright, honestly I haven't looked into SCHF at all yet, I've been focusing on SCHG, SCHV, SCHB, and SCHX.

I would probably pick some up eventually, but I need to see what markets it has exposure to. I'm not crazy about Europe/Britain right now, the Brexit thing seems like it's set to full on trainwreck. And there's been a lot of FUDding here about DB, but I haven't actually looked into it. Even the better banks like Santander seem to be having some issues.

IDK, I'm comfortable investing in the US for a few reasons, one of them is, if the US goes tits-up, which I doubt will happen, I'm going to have bigger problems than losses in the stock market.

I sold too much SCHG... we just keep hitting ATH, and even if I sell at the perfect time, I never buy back in at the right time.

Nah, the trigger would be much earlier than that. If the protesters staged a serious coup and subdued the Hong Kong police, I think that's when the PRC would step in.

As per the CNBC article;

Big disagree, there is a difference in burger and fry quality at fast food restaurants. Maybe this is my own bigotry speaking up, but generally some McDonalds tend to be better run and better staffed then others, and there is a noticeable difference in food quality (and cleanliness of the store, etc.)

There are some McDondalds (and other fast food restaurants) where the employees just don't give a shit at all. they will fuck up the burger toppings, mess up the fry cook times and salt distributions, etc. Some places (lots of small towns where the restaurants are staffed by only whites, maybe) they will get your order right every time.

I must be the minority but if I want to eat vegetables I like fresh cheap veggies sitting under a sprayer with nice lighting beaming down on them. Makes me go straight home and steam or fry or whatever something good with them. As for meat I like full 100% meat and fat. There’s no way I’d ever buy processed blood pressure through the roof garbage from BYND and fake meat turns my stomach to even think about.
