it's very similar to the net neutrality issue, they span it as a freedom meme, when in reality it was a battle between 2 classes of mega corps. ISPs, hardware and infrastructure operators, vs Silicon valley, software and service providers. Silicon valley lost. So I kind of doubt silicon valley will win this time, but maybe they learned some lessons. Those nerds are supposed to be smart.
