I doubt it will happen - OpenLaw is part of Consensys.
But it is logical, so I could be wrong. OpenLaw is bringing legal agreements on-chain. Oracles can both be used to inform legal agreements, and would benefit from on-chain legal agreements.

wrong, that is some impressive cope though. sell walls were put up in increments of 25-50k LINK to not rape the price and they have no reason to obfuscate through binance. this would be done OTC, in a private way, and when the tokens end up at their final destinations, we'd have no idea who they'd be for either way.

why am i bothering trying to help you retards, most of you probably bought LINK thinking it's the one erc20 token that's not gonna fuck you in the ass in the end. if you hold long enough, you will get burned, and this is LITERALLY a slow dump so the devs can get the most money out of their token.

could you blame them? no. they have no regulations stopping them from doing this. we'd all do the same thing.

In that hypothetical the client gets the full $500K because the case would have been worth more. The standard fee for plaintiff lawyers is 1/3rd before trial, if it goes to trial it goes to 40%. Keep in mind it won't go to trial unless we are confident we'd get way more than what the insurance company would offer.

Me personally I'll typically take a smaller cut if it's just writing a demand letter or something. Or if my client is truly fucked I'll cut my fees. I'm already pretty much set and if LINK moons I'll just take cases for fun. It's unironically badass you get to play detective and go over the accident scenes and police reports, then duke it out in the courtroom and go toe to toe with defense lawyers. But you are your own boss you show up for work whenever you want and can go on vacation whenever. Great career and the thought of AI replacing my secretary and all the underlings I'll have to hire makes me rock hard

Gonna throw this out there that I used to work for one of the largest law-related firms in the world (not a legal firm but a professional firm which works w/ the largest legal firms). It was a big company, so plenty of boomers, but plenty of Brooklynite hipsters who were the epitome of what you just described. There are a lot of jobs in the legal world that only require you can do a job, not that you look professional in photographs.

Some were in better positions than others, one of my friends I used to work with (who was a greasy hobo looking guy) is now in a top managerial position just by sticking around long enough.

You're right that the true upper echelon, the real bosses, all wear slacks and shirts and ties or suits, but also this for me was like 15 years ago it was a different time. Plenty of C level people especially at smaller companies these days look like jabronis. That being said, these people look young to be C level, how do you know they are higher ups? I don't see them listed when I look at the website which does list the big dogs at the company who all look like 40's and respectable.

What does VP of BD mean and what does PM mean in the context of a blockchain start up? Not being sarcastic i really don't know but i assume the former is blockchain development which seems pretty high up.
I just don't like the optics of it as far as your public feeds looking like it's a brewery or some shit. I get that not everyone has to be a boomer in a suit but the courtroom is truly no place for techie sweatpants fashion at all and thus companies ultimately associated with legal services typically act with that in mind while distributing promotional material in public

BD is business development. At a blockchain company I'd say the importance and meaning of that role (especially at a young stage) can vary greatly. Most "BD" I see at blockchains are just forming relationships with other crypto oriented companies, which doesn't take much at all. If we're talking about trying to develop meaningful relationships with large law firms, etc., that could be a more difficult role which would require someone with some real experience.

PM is project manager (possibly product but usually PM is project). That definitely doesn't require a suit and generally you want someone who is just a well organized person who can keep a project moving along. They're glorified executive assistants, though good PMs can make a project feel great to work on & help drive it towards success, it's more about being able to work with people and keep things moving smoothly than being a brilliant mind capable of ingenuity.

I will agree with you re: optics and their twitter account is no better. But, again, the world is changing. I mean, when I was growing up if my parents had to deal with the shit kids do on Instagram and whatever now they would have had a fucking heart attack every day.

I have several good friends who are lawyers and they're somewhere in between the lawyers of old and what I imagine a "millenial" lawyer would be like... the business landscape is changing and I find it hard to judge based off of appearances or behavior. I would more quickly judge based off of past experience and accomplishments.
