https://www.gamesradar.com/switch-joy-con-repair/

there is a defective part in the nintendo switch analogue sticks that is causing a lot of bad publicity. the news just dropped that nintendo have decided to repair the 'joy con' controllers free of charge and without proof of purchase

>“Customers will no longer be requested to provide proof of purchase for Joy-Con repairs,” the internal customer service details say. “Additionally it is not necessary to confirm warranty status. If a customer requests a refund for a previously paid Joy-Con repair [...] confirm the prior repair and then issue a refund.”

you can buy these defective controllers (listed as having 'joy con drift') on ebay for around $16, get them repaired by nintendo and resell them as working for $40-$50

im too lazy to do this but im sure some of you good sirs will appreciate the tip
