Antique dealer here, I could write a book on some of the crazy stuff I see. I was thinking of writing one but not sure how to publish properly or get a decent audience.

Is it is very easy to sell good antique product, but hard to find a margin thats worth it. Make a decent amount of money but bills/tax/balancing it is horrific and gettinf ahead takes careful balancing. You never know what you will make the next month etc

I don't really enjoy putting in a lot of hours into businesses, so I'm a consultant for them instead (plus "angel investor" I guess but don't like throwing terms around). Have helped quite a few of them jump start in my city, really dislike the public attention for reasons so usually I'll ask them to keep everything I do low profile.
