Yeah there are highs and lows. However, silver and gold value overall will increase slowly but steadily due to the general rise of cost of living and steady increase of resource scarcity. Also inflation, of course. To me this is low risk low reward.

Gold/Silver goes up and down but overall through the decades the value is steadily increasing. Even if the gold/silver market plummets the base minimum is now $1100/oz gold and $10/oz Silver.
