Not sure why, Link has previously been quite resistant toward fluctuations in the BTC price.
I think either it is because a lot of "new" money went into Link over the last month, and this new money are more quick to sell off.
Alternative explanation is the teams 700K daily dumps, If it was any other coin and the team sitting on 70% of the total marketcap decides to drop so large quantities day after day, and with no explanation or information beyond "we need more money". I wouldn't invest regardless of the prospect of the project.

it's precisely this meme which made me hate LINKfucks from the beginning.
there is NO CHANCE EVER that link will have a trillion dollar market cap. with 350-1 billion coins, that'd require like 3 times more investment than is currently involved in every crypto in existence combined.
