there is this guy at work who preached linkie constantly. yesterday i walked into his office and ripped a truly horrible fart and jumped back into my office. he walked back into his office and 2 seconds later our hot receptionist walked in and had to endure my beer and taco bell fart. she undoubtedly had to think this linkie ripped that stinkie

I feel that I can look back on all of this now and understand why we believed what we did at the time, and why we were so hopeful. It's not like it was as obvious as some other projects - but unfortunately some of you have not come to the realization that you are coping with financial stockholm syndrome. You still persist in flooding this board for validation, but it's so painfully clear that the spammers are nothing but desperate, emotional bagholders trying to circlejerk one last exit spurt out of this now provably centralized, amateur shitcoin.

Chainlink's team is literally dumping all over us as we speak. Sergey just has a few more presentations to go where he drags his drag his fat, tech-illiterate ass like a dog with worms before an audience of college freshmen who wanted to play with crypto as a hobby and then he can finally cash out his own stack and retire early. He could go up on stage, announce the cessation of the project, and then post pictures from some beautiful beach in czech every day and you would still hold onto your extremely overvalued stacks. They don't even dump on you themselves. That's how bad it is at this point - they can literally use a bot to sell off huge amounts of link every single day and know that you'll just make up cope because it's too hard to accept. This proves that the team is definitely aware of the sentiment on this board - they know that old retards and new suckers alike are trapped now. Sergey could show up to his presentations drunk at this point and you imbeciles would just try to claim that he's a chad despite the fact that he is a soft and timid little eunuch who is clearly in way over his head. But then again, so are you.

The difference is, is that he's going to walk away an insanely rich man while you're going to be flipping burgers and imagining yourself in sports cars for the next 40 years until you die of heart failure from eating big-macs 'ironically.'

>> No.14813352

Anyone who hasn't dumped this yet is delusional and an idiot.

This project will experience exactly the same fate that REQ did. It's useless and worthless. It's only a matter of time until the price starts reflecting that fact.

So much this.. he has +300 mio tokens left he is gonna dump over the next year or so.
Sunday i said we would break 2.5 by Tuesday or Wednesday, because no one wants to buy a depreciating asset, and with the prospect of 300 million being dropped at this rate, the price will go even lower.
I think by next week, we will have broken 1$, and by next week again we will be back to the 50 cents range.

Going to be rough seeing how things hold out until August. Lots of people losing faith, even if the price does rebound lots of people will start dumping if we hit $4 again because they missed out last time.

Bitcoin is in the mainstream now, Trump is talking about it, Mnuchin, Treasury, etc., and all of the crypto talking heads are saying that alts are dead, its bitcoin or bust.

So we're on the cusp of the next retail frenzy into crypto, but this time I think people are going to avoid alts because all the bitcoin maximalists are so defeatist and so loud. What I wish people would understand is that utility tokens are not competing with bitcoin, they are a different incentive system for products. I agree that litecoin and monero are dead in the water as competition with bitcoin, but I think Link, VIDT and BAT will survive because they are practical use cases for tokenization and decentralized incentive systems.

I agree. We have a problem where there is this lack of market differentiation between tokens that function as currency, tokens that function as a security, and tokens that function as a utility. Some crypto do all three.

Yet the greater crypto world just calls these all "alts" and its as stupid as calling a stock / bond / airline point / gold coin all the same thing.

Making money has gotten extremely difficult in the modern world. The internet and connectivity of humanity has increased our competitiveness and sophistication to such a high level that to be able to accumulate wealth is now much more difficult than at any other point in industrialized modern economic history. On top of that, productivity and global wealth growth is strong, but incomes are stagnant and inflation is weakening the middle class.

In the past, people could own multiple homes and raise several children with one non-college based job. Arnold Schwarzenegger made himself into a real estate millionaire before he even got into Hollywood. People got rich on commodities trading in the 80s, and the tech boom in the last few decades.

But now, it's increasingly difficult to break into the wealth and comfort our predecessors had. You cannot raise 3 children and own a nice home without making more than $200,000 annually. I think the last great frontier of our generation to get "easy" wealth in line with our ancestors is through the coming explosion of cryptocurrencies and the decentralization of as many systems as possible.

I truly believe this is the future and the best chance our generation has to gain real wealth.

Then the pump up to 60c in the fall saw many dumbfags come in and shit the board up, but this year after mainnet was when it truly got awful. Biz is basically pol-tier at this point. Just brainlets spamming pasta, fud and logical fallacies. 0 arguments. Thank fuck desu, I am finally free of this shithole.
