I'm saying by history of recessions you can assume when it will happen. What I'm saying is that most recessions are usually spread out at most within 10 years. Meaning this is the longest we've gone without a recession indicating that we are long overdue for one.
1907-1915 - 10 year span
1945-1949 - 4 year span
1953-1957 - 4 year span
1960-1970 - 10 year span
1973-1975 - 2 year span
1980-1982 - 2 year span
1990-1991 - 1 year span
2001(8 Months)
2008-2009 - 1 year span

If it was possible to correctly predict a recession it would already be priced into the stock so there would be no gain to be made
