even though link went up the other coins would have dragged it down and there would hardly be any profit.
seems like theres no winning unless you pick one winner.

Uhhh OP...you would then sell the profit in Link and use it on another coin that moved down in relation to it. Then when one of the others pumps, you do the same. You keep the buy low sell high train going. That's what everyone means when they say diversify.
