Katy Perry and every normie on earth was hyped in 2017. Even Kanye West was shilling Bitcoin

you said it right. WAS. tether is pumping this back into the news, but no one will fomo in. everyone knows this is a ponzi. i cant even talk about crypto to my normie friends without them seething because they lost a shit ton of money in 2017. the others that didnt invest say "i told you so" and laugh. its literally over, this will hit ATH due to tether, it will hit the news, no one will buy and tether will exit scam

Retards like you have no concept of this and why tether “exit scamming” or being “busted” by NYAG will have zero affect on btc price.

When Bitcoin starts making new ATHs, the hype will be back. The thing is, after 2017 popped people were too embarrassed to say they were in crypto because it dumped so hard. But when Bitcoin is at 30k, 50k, 100k, all those people that were hyped in 2017 will come back to tell people how smart they were for buying bitcoin sub 20k. Kanye will shill it even harder, and the people that heard about bitcoin in 2017 but sat on the sidelines will FOMO. Shitcoins will come back too but not until the bubble really gets going.

>80% of the volume is in USDT pairs
>wont have any effect
dude i dont know if youre sarcastic or not, but i can guarantee to you the only salvation for bitcoin is if tether is actually legit and those 100 million prints every other week are actually institutional investors buying. if they are not, this market is doomed. thats just a fact

I’ve decided to just give you the reasons because you’ll ask anyway -

Nobody buys tether with fiat. When somebody exchanges their bitcorn or any other coin for tether, fiat was used to buy the said bitcorn originally so real fiat has entered the eco system.

In order for tether to print invisible money and sell them for btc, the person selling their btc to tether has bought that btc with real fiat.

Nobody uses tether other than degenerates to “hold” the price of their coins in the hopes to rebuy when the price falls.

Should tether get “busted” only ones getting REKT will be the retards who sold their btc that they bought with real fiat for tether. This would not affect the market price of btc in anyway.

I highly recommend you listen to this podcast, with the creator of Tether. The shit Bitfinexed has been feeding everyone was all BS. Sounded spooky but it never had any substance. It's time to move on from that old FUD https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TabQtyUfgfc

Money talks. If you want them to get hyped, drive around in your lambo and act like it's nothing until people ask you how you got it. There's nothing to get hyped about when you're sitting around with 2000 bucks on Coinbase doing nothing but losing value.

There are a few big playas buy tether blocks with fiat
I literally know some
It's groups that can't access USD mostly
Buy yeh it won't have a massive effect when it pops - but it will have an effect due to ways ppl think

Nice FUD

Isn't it pretty much accepted and confirmed that tether is a lot of illegal money, crime money, embezzled money from Russian government officials... It's mostly all actual money, they haven't printed 100% out of thin air. So if any gubbermint action were to shut down Tether tomorrow, BTC and alts would crash quite hard, but not as bad as people think, and that's the worst case scenario.
I say keep printing them tethers, who gives a shit. Shady shit happens in all currencies.
