14543899 No.14543899 [Reply] [Original]

So to preface this, I’m a fucking moron. Not low iq or anything but I’m a lazy dumb shit who has squandered ten years of my life for 35k a year. I’m also in a small amount of debt. Looking for any advice on how to escape this hole I’ve dug for myself.
>29
>ten years at a restaurant making 17 bucks an hour
>7 grand in credit card debt due to reckless spending
>rent is 670 a month for my half
>spend 50 bucks a week on alcohol
>30 on nicotine
>30 on gas
>60 on food
>ten bucks a month on entertainment
>350 a month on debt payments
>25 a week on tolls
I never go out, I cook at home, I got rid of cable, Netflix, Xbox etc to save some more and I pay everything on time but I’m gunna be stuck like this for at least three more years paying off debt. I also dropped out of college but paid off that debt pretty quickly.
Any advice on how to get the fuck out of this?

1) Start doing a couple hours of week via gig economy (uber, food delivery, etc)

2) Pay off that CC debt as fast as possible because it's high interest

3) Cut out alcohol or buy cheaper shit. $50 is way too much.

That's what I'd do in your shoes. Never been in debt but gig economy seems like a great way to get out without doing some stupid shit like investing in a volatile coin.

Get a higher paying job and or work more hours .
Pay off credit card then get rid of it. Don’t drink and don’t smoke (cut off one at a time because a normie like you can’t handle getting rid of both at the same time. Pay off debts then when you are completely debt free to invest into crypto or stock market and then save and buy a house.

40 hours of work is a guideline, not a requirement. Sounds like you need to pull some 60s to get out of it. It’s not that bad. I’ve instructed all my friends to ask me about my second job if I ever complain about money.

Cut out alcohol and nicotine, pay down that credit card debt before you get hit with interest, if you already are getting hit then do a balance transfer.

If you live somewhere with public transport get rid of your car, the insurance gas tolls and parking are not worth.

Look for a new job, minimum wage where I am is 15/hr, 17 is nigger tier, pick up a second job if you have to. If you're chained to the food service industry look into bartending, ask around, network.

All it takes is a few months and dedication to turn your life around.

Also 60 a week is not bad but you could easily cut that down, especially if you're working at a restaurant. When I was serving I cut myself back to 1 meal a day which was normally before the dinner rush and was my "lunch" at work. I got cool with the Mexicans who cooked so they would give me bigger servings and save whatever I didn't eat for the next morning. Saved a ton of cash and leaned out pretty nicely.

Go learn a trade. Electrician/Plumber/HVAC repair etc. If you don't have a brain, you can at least learn a basic skill that will never be automated away, and pays decently well.

My uncle makes low six-figures as a Journeyman. That includes a lot of overtime, but he is willing to bust his ass to make and save money. Coupled with his military benefits, he has a pretty nice life.

I would start by taking a deep breath, realizing the normie boat has set sail and its okay that you missed it. We all did. Next if you haven't already, start watching Dave Ramsey videos and his baby steps. Some of his investment advice is ridiculous, but getting everyday people out of debt and back to having an actual life is his thing. The other side of the coin is you flat out need more income. You could get a second job to help pay down the CC debt but really if you want a wife, house and kids you need to get into a new career. Ask yourself this: "What opportunities am I not taking"? Family members have jobs. Friends have jobs. Their friends and family have jobs. Trades have become meme status but they are in need and a good option for people in your exact situation. Apply to unions.

CDL. It sucks, it's hard mentally for normie faggots like you to start...but no rent and no time to spend the 60-70 hrs of money you absolutely earn.

Quit after a year or go local if you like it. With 40-50k saved up after the kikes collect. Good. Way to jumpstart a shitty deadend situation.

Anon you have a motivation mixed with income problem. Get a second fucking job, make some more money, do something you're inspired to do. Snowball the cc debt if it's spread out. But seriously, need to up your income. If it means working an extra 20 hours a week so be it, but if you can get out from under that honestly tiny amount of debt you're golden. You'll be surprised how much you can save afterwards. Also look into opening a Roth IRA, I know we all love to LARP as crypto millionaires, but it will be good for you in the long run. Take care brother, things will work out.

>> No.14544666

Two years of college and living in Mississippi, I was making $43/hr. 670/mo is enough to rent an entire fucking house where I am. It sounds like you're getting paid dogshit and paying by offering your ass to the entire fucking synagogue. I want you to be making at least $25/hr. In the meantime you can cut costs significantly on nicotine and booze. Hobowine is not exactly gran cru but I've made some damn good stuff that cost about $6/gallon and clocked in at 10% abv. I've made bearable shit for half that. I vape 2% nicotine for very little, still haven't optimized it because the nicotine oxidizes faster than I can go through it, but again it's so cheap it's not exactly a budget buster.
Sounds like you have the ambition and tenacity, just need the patience now. Don't worry fren, you're going to make it. Even Kek smiles upon you, checked.
