Oh shit but Anon, the bucket in this pic, the one that says "CHAIN LINK" (from top to bottom) is hanging from an orange steel rack. I have seen these very same racks at the various Home Depot locations I have been to in my life. I also recognize the font, a distinct elongated curvature to the numerals that is unique to the Home Depot brand. Anon, I would bet my life that this picture was take inside a Home Depot store. Ask yourself
Why would a giant like oracle on-board data sellers on the network?
Who will buy the data?
The use cases evoked are trivial. compared to derivatives and insurance.
They're aimed at smaller companies and minor friction reduction. They won't be implemented right away and won't be easily adopted. They will take some time to prove profitable.
Unless they're also gonna invest in developing the smart contracts themselves as well? Invest in pushing these use cases as readily adoptable for minimal transition/adoption costs?
Why do they even believe in these minor use cases when the big ones like derivatives and insurance haven't been implemented and adopted yet?
Realistically link will only be used for market price data for at least one or two years. Oraclize is only used for fucking gambling.
This stuff should be a phase 2 kind of investment. 2022 maybe but why so soon then?
Unless they were really really convinced smart contracts adoption will spread like wildfire. Unless they already have important enterprise demand for adoption.
The beauty of link is this demand means all the platforms will be at war with each other. Just like all the decentralized chains are at war, all the big cloud tech giants will also be at war to dominate the BaaS market. And they will all need to integrate link. Amazon, Microsoft and IBM will have no choice but to keep up with Google and oracle. What's implied is, it's not just integration, it's also biz dev with massive resources, to get enterprises ready and to kick-start all the SC use cases. That also means more and more data providers will be on-boarded courtesy of oracle's competitors also seeking market dominance. Link doesn't even have to do the groundwork, just let the others do their work for them. If you thought 4 dollars was the top you have no idea what's coming. You just win.

watch the video again the announcements of the startups start in September and then will go for about the next year or so. This lines up with the final companies being announced in October 2020 and matches asuka anon's prediction timeline for $1634 LINK All the other information is well stated anon good work on the green text. Here's the video where you can see that they will be making startup announcements at about 2 a month for twelve months with one month having three announcements.
