Why does the so called science of economics assume the average customer is aware of the quality of the products they purchase? Why does economics assume the average customer is conscious and self-aware? Why does economics assume every seller is motivated solely by profit maximization? Why do we pretend supply has anything to do with prices when it's just demand? Why can't people just accept the economy is a show and doesn't operate logically?
