Give me the truth about Harmony /biz/. Is it actually a viable project because I keep reading anons saying it's got a chance to flip EOS or ETH.

OK anon, this is the truth.
Harmony is a new coin and blockchain with a capable team of developers that are implementing a new form of sharding. Indeed, this is just another competitor against EOS, ETH, NEO etc. It has strong support from binance and is their best IEO until now. These arguments, along with the fact that alt season is coming, will probably lead to harmony going up in value a lot (10x is definitely possible). However, I would not be to greedy and hold onto harmony forever. I don't think eth will ever be flipped. Eth 2.0 will btfo all competitors.

Ethereum cannot scale. Max tps are under 25/tps. It's too slow for global adoption. There's no way to update the code. The whole network needs to be forked on some new code.

harmony code base was built around fast fps

eth devs have to build a fast network and somehow make all that compatible with existing eth code/wallets etc.. really complicated and is one reason why there are constant delays with eth 2 because they could take twice as long as harmony at delivering. by that time, harmony will be chugging along with compatibile/ easy swaps for ethereum.
