Remember that you can always lock your short if you feel that the price is heading above your liquidation price.

>borrow coins from the exchange and short-sell them
>notice that the price is moving against you too fast
>re-buy the borrowed amount before liquidation
>set up a conditional sell order so that when the price drops again you sell it automatically

This way you can wait out a storm without being liquidated.

While 350k is a lot, it's not lifechanging money, at least not for me. The worst part personally is knowing if we just dipped 200~ lower I'd have nearly 9m right now. Why didn't I exit at 4k? 5k? 6k? when it began rising? Because I was 100% sure it'd turn around and I'd hate myself for selling eventually, there was never any thought given that I might get liquidated before 11k was broken
