Chainlink is hilarious. Everything about it from the logo to the figure head. A "big" event for link consisted of a presentation with about 10 attendees, held in front of some toilets. It was just a hilariously pathetic project so we memed it. This was 2017, the year /biz/ was flooded with normie retards. At the same time plently of oldfags were still around because the streetshitter infestation was new and hadn't yet worn us down. So you had this potent combination of high powered autistic memeing and a plethora of greedy morons who couldn't tell their head from their ass, let alone detect bait. The fact that people actually took the memes seriously is even more hilarious so chainlink continues to be shilled both ironically and unironically in a self perpetuating cycle that is almost certain to continue until link reaches $1000.
