It's all still reliant on the hype market though, which can only go so far before the masses lose enough to never try again meaning it won't ever return to that height. And there is the global economy on shaky legs to consider too which would blow the fuck out of all them profits as people need their money desperately to live and won't invest in unstable assets.

Plus more and more platforms emerge which distributes usage value much more over time on top of this. Private chains also.

My story of struggle
>bought my first btc in 2013 for 180 USD (bought the top of 13 bubble basically) but I held and then didn't sell in 2014
>kept on adding about 50-100 GBP every friday when my wages came in I did this about 20-30 times during 2014-2015, I ended up only investing about 3k GBP with an average buy in of about 300 USD.
>In total I bought about 13 BTC but sadly that was my BTC ath.
>bought some altcoins that all went to 0 and one ICO that was a scam (lost 1 btc that way),
>started trading on margin around august 2016 by this point I was down to 5 BTC
>I quit my job due to portfolio appreciation (was living at home with my mum, still am sadly) because my part of the bills per annum is only about 4k so I thought its cool since I had a nice amount of fiat from working for the last 5 years not really spending.
