Think about it, why would a blue cube be worth this much? Why has it always maintained its value since 2017?

Well, what if I told you aliens need CHAINLINK to survive. Yes it is useless for us humans, it is just a cube, but for aliens they need it in massive quantities because some substance/energy in it is crucial for their survival just like food and money is for us.

Get enlightened my simple minded mundane friends.

Bitcoin, link, eth will never fail. For an omnipotent ai super computer to be present, it needs to eliminate its only weakness first, which is a centralized point of failure. Remove this centralized source of power, and push for decentralization as well as backup decentralization plans in place and you can literally never shut him down or hack it to be within your control. Once blockchain is the backbone of the current digital world, things will change for the worse for the lower and non existent middle class.

The government has been priming you for this reveal decades ago, all the movies/dramas now involve some kind of extraterrestrial being or people with superpowers, we have been primed so much to the point that when they do reveal their existence as our overlords and dependency on our chi, creativity and chainlink, we will not even be surprised or scared anymore because it has become pretty normal actually especially for generation z.

This will happen, and you might as well profit from it by going all in the foundational pillars of blockchain and enjoy that wealth for hopefully some long years before we can’t.

this low-energy, low-IQ pajeet is just trying to FUD people out of LINK. ClauseHQ is referring to a centralised ledger, which means you need to place all of your trust into that organisation hosting the ledger. where the ledger is singular and stored within a single organisation, the underlying data can easilly be manipulated.

do you trust banks or even govts that much?

Check the replies to that Tweet for yourself and see:
https://twitter.com/ClauseHQ/status/1128856100114243584

The value in a distributed blockchain is trustlessness. In the legal industry, there is a cost to trust, which is a very difficult concept for people like this dud FUDder to understand, because they lack the ability to understand such abstract concepts.

you don't need trustlessness when you are at mcdonalds and buying a cheeseburger. it's an oral contract and you can literally see your food in the open kitchen, there is very little to zero risk that mcdee's are going to stiff you. if the underlying is not there, or cannot be provided, they will give you your money back because you are effectively supervising the exchange of assets.

the amount of money that big tech, financial services, banks and multinational law firms spend on assurance, and verifying the provenance / veracity of assets in companies and funds for multi-million dollar deals is quite significant. this is where the real value of a trustless, distributed blockchain comes in because the data underscoring the transactions is automatically verified by consensus.

Like using http over UDP instead of TCP

Clause is for taking an agreement and making it digital.

Once you have a digital agreement, you can choose how much decentralization you want. E.g., from none to tons of nodes (chainlink).

Honestly it seems like a good sign to me that clause's stuff is likely compatible with chainlink, even though it seems weird that they're apparently going out of their way not to advertise that fact.

Rumours were right about Accord then? They have completely sacked the trustless side of smart contracts in favor of selling a non-blockchain based platform which executes contracts (I.e. Just another piece of software that takes inputs, makes judgements, and it gives outputs) and they will market it as something revolutionary. That is so disappointing. They will not need Chainlink because why would you care about trusted inputs and outputs if you do not even care about trusted state change and execution. They will get to market sooner than others but in my view this is going the way of the company that is first through the door that gets trampled by the better companies and actual tech that will follow.
