I was here all of 2018's bear market watching the market bleed all year. Why did bitcoin have 0 resistance at 6k? Weren't we all expecting sideways action at that level?

Because the entire move since April 1st is a fake pump by Bitfinex, who is in massive financial and legal trouble, to try to induce FOMO so that they (when it's time) can dump on the market.

More than 2x since April 1st, on no real news or developments. Uh huh...
