Insider here. My friend Edric works for the Galactic Spacing Guild, and says they are planning to use Chainlink Smart Contracts for the transportation of Melange, also known as Spice, between the various worlds falling under jurisdiction of the Padishah Emperor.

Consuming Spice allows one to see ahead in time, so Guild Navigators like Edric consume large quantities of Spice in order to guide their ships safely through the cosmos.

As beings that live slightly outside of our temporal reality, the Guild have seen Chainlink's future as the galaxy's chosen decentralised oracle network, and want to get in on the ground floor.

Also, as Spice is the galaxy's most valuable commodity, Edric assures me that 1k per Link is fud.
