BAT hasn't had its day in the sun yet. It's a token that's been slowly rising, has a legitimate product behind it, and is going to be able to be used on YouTube, Twitter, Twitch, etc.

BAT's downfall is that it doesn't rely on "MUH GOOGLE PARDNERSHIPP" to pump its bags. It instead relies on product releases and actual online usage.

Crypto literally needs BAT to succeed if there's any hope for cryptocurrency real world usage. If BAT fails, the middlemen coins have no fucking hope.

Here's the thing: either cryptocurrency has real world use cases and potential in the mainstream, or it doesn't.

If BAT fails, I can't see much hope for any other cryptocurrency really taking off in the mainstream. It would pretty much prove that this is all just vaporware ponzi shit. "M-muh future middleware token will connect buying insurance with bitcoin, in the future" - except if something as simple and straightforward as BAT in a web browser cannot ever take off, imagine anyone ever wanting to buy offchain property with crypto, lmao. If you can't purchase online goods using a token, imagine some boomer wanting to buy property on the blockchain. Nope.
