Any chance for Bcash / Bitcoin Cash growth from utility? Looking over https://bitinfocharts.com/comparison/transactions-btc-bch.html it doesn't seem to be doing particularly well, its transaction growth in recent months may only be in line with the market at large due to the Bitcoin pump.

But there's no denying that the crippled Core blocksize limitation and the LN vaporware is fucking bullshit for utility. A crypto system that works "well enough" for a couple more years before limitations arise could potentially grab some more market share.

I do hate Bcash for its pump and dump activities, the endless civil war and fork drama, greater mining centralization and lower hash rate. But like its big brother it survives every drama and moves on. The devs seem to be on the crappy side, but they're somewhere between the core garbage people who aren't doing anything useful and the Ethereum camp where the truly serious work is happening (at a fairly slow pace).

Could it be good enough?

There are some high IQ devs and bitcoin oldfags backing BCH, it's worth keeping an eye on it

Isn't that kinda just a core testnet? With higher TPS, though, yes.

So you're saying I should buy 10 BTC and 10 Bcash as a hedge?

Not giving financial advice. Look up BCH backers and decide for yourself if you like what they write.

I don't know a single guy who's in it for its potential to replace fiat who didn't move to bch.

Do turbo autists like the guys you know justify a cap higher than its present $7 billion though?

From a relational perspective, trading and transaction volumes indicate BTC's valuation being 20x that of BCH may be a little too high. But it looks different from the hashrate perspective. And even if you look into the "BCH for Venezuela meme", at least Google trends doesn't seem to confirm growing interest at all.

Imagine if the "BTC is digital gold meme" helped a coin nobody's using except to buy other coins nobody's using reach $140B market cap what a coin with actual utility could reach.

Going in all in on bch again after the litecoin halving. Core and bsv can talk all the shit they want about centralization, but I have an easily accessible wallet with quick transactions and low fees. Roger Ver even said that if lighting took off for core or Craig made his shit work better to drop BCH and start using theirs. Fuck the tribalism and use what’s best, period.

He also hired attorneys to respond by 6/28 on that libel suit.
