LINK was built on hype just like every other coin. Sure Sergey didn't make announcements of announcements and other gay shit, but the reality is that people bought into it because they were hyped it might be the next big thing.

Well, guess what? It still might be, but now there is a real product getting in the way of the mirage that people want to see and chase after. And the real product in its current state is a pile of rancid assholes.

It's like being in the middle of fapping to your 2D waifu and getting a phone call from your 102-yo grandma. Reality kills the mood. Now that mainnet is in the picture, it's going to need to actually start delivering results before investor money can return to it. TConsidering they're at the point where they're adding ETH ticker nodes manually, one-by-one, after KYC interviews, and staking/rep/aggregation are all far-off total question marks still, it's probably going to be a long wait. And a long, long, long fucking bleed.
