Have fun with your 400k/day tx count limit.
People are already fleeing to ETH and other cryptos to make transactions.
If interest in BTC does manage to rise however from this point, making transactions will soon be only for companies/rich people.

those other cryptos have more transactions sent from less addresses
less secure
less desirable
less valuable
used by less people

>This BitMex exchange seems interesting. Let me send my ETH over to try a few trades there. Oh, they only accept BTC deposits... Ok, I'll switch to BTC and then transfer. Oh, Binance put the fee too low and now I have to wait a day for the tx to go through... Should have done this during the weekend or night time, when there is less traffic on the BTC network.

Bitmex will be fucked, if they don't get Liquid working and fully adopted soon. Mempool and fees will only rise from here, given that people will want to deal with BTC anymore.

What is the definition of an active address?

>> No.13931817

Strange how shitcoin lovers don't understand that there would be no shitcoins without this. If BTC disappeared now so would all alts except for maybe ripple and ETH.

Bwahahahah. You are undermining yourself with the time frame and those numbers. Active addresses do fluctuate, but alt numbers are definitely not declining this year. ETH is even rising more than BTC.

its just a picture i saved 3 weeks ago
theres still more active addresses on btc where it costs more to use and is much more secure due to the higher hash rate
why would i want shitcoins that could disappear or lose value?
im only in it long term and refer the long term tax treatment
ive had my bitcoins for years and haven't sold any yet

its still accurate
bitcoin has always had the most active addresses
even though it would cost the most to spam it still has the most active addresses

over 50% of bitcoin cash' transactions are done by a single address

Indeed, BTC could never lose hash rate or value. Still more active addresses, but not forever at this rate.

At the time there are still some time windows when you can get your transaction go through cheap. But yeah, most of the time, you are going to be sitting in traffic with over 1$ tx fee.

if you pay $12 then you're retarded (or your exchange is if they forced you). I've been able to pay $0.01 in fees ON BTC and get it confirmed many times these past few days.

There's not payments/day limit anymore since Lightning went live a year ago.
