If you think Craig isn’t Satoshi, then either

a) he knew who the real Satoshi was

b) he didn’t.

B) is unlikely. Why? A man who mined tons of bitcoin and thus has a lot of wealth would not risk reputational suicide and being branded as a liar and fraud knowing that the real satoshi can come out and denounce him at any moment. If he truly doesn’t know who satoshi is, then he is at the mercy of the real satoshi’s will. A few years ago when Dorian Nakomoto, a Japanese man in California, was suspected to be Satoshi, Satoshi on the SAME DAY the article was released denounced that. Some speculated it was hacked but I don’t think it was ever fully confirmed. Note that the same wasn’t done for Craig. Note that the real satoshi hasn’t signed any transaction or any message saying it’s not Craig. Note that privacy isn’t a concern here. He can post or sign anything with complete privacy just like he did for years. Why hasn’t he done this for Craig? If you say it’s because he’s dead, read the rest of the post.

A) is more likely. Even if the real satoshi is dead, he would know this given the risks associated with the B). However, it is impossible to know satoshi without yourself most likely being part of the satoshi group.

Thus, it is likely that Craig is satoshi or that he is part of the satoshi group. I have my own doubts and concerns, but can you atleast acknowledge that these are reasonable points to think about?
