Scarcity is more important than any other stat. Bitcoin's price is tied to the halvening schedule and every other crypto lives and dies with BTC.
In bear markets scarce coins retain more value, or even increase. When the coins with the highest total number start mooning, like XRP and LINK, it's a sign the dumb money is about to set a top.
The newest trend in crypto is forced scarcity / hyper deflationary currencies like WAU coin and BOMB token. Dummies care more about splitting pennies on TX fees and seconds on TX times so they'll buy NANO or BCH and miss the big picture. If you're nerd money ain't rare, I won't buy more than a $50 lotto ticket.
