As much as I admire both, it is clear that Vitalik is a Savant and not a genius. Ethereum is an amazing, mind blowing project, but it is severely flawed. Without going into detail, any proof of stake token is flawed, because the incentive is to "not use" it. POW on the other hand relies on use or otherwise it dies, so it must be used. CSW knew this prior to creating bitcoin and this is why POW is the only way. I recently read the book "Economics in one lesson" (which I recommend to everyone here). The author states at one point that "economics is the study of secondary consequences". This is the key of Bitcoin. It is a system where all (or most) secondary consequences are contemplated. The fruit of the mind of a real genius, not a Savant.
